Das Boot in Sendling

Das gefällt mir, so etwas skurriles, unerwartetes, mitten in der Stadt. Wie packt man so etwas an?
Ich, zuerst die Treppen hinauf aufs Deck, mit Cappuccino und Zeit. Der erste Blick erinnerte mich an einem Schiffsausflug auf dem Starnberger See im Juli. Bis ich an die Leute vorbei schaute und die Stadtbauwerk-Landschaft, mit den vielen Kränen im Hintergrund, sah:-)

"I like this, something as whimsical and oddball (and functional!) as a ship on the elevated railroad tracks in Sendling, converted into a collection of Cafés and eateries. Walking up the steps on the stern side, the view on the deck reminded me of a boat trip I took in July on Lake Starnberg. Until I looked past the people and was confronted with the many construction cranes on the city skyline."



Unter Deck, gewohnte Seemanns Gemütlichkeit. Bis man aus dem Fenster schaut: Büsse, Eisenbahn, Wohnblöcke, Baukräne:-)

Auf der anderen Strassenseite, nach der Kreuzung, sieht man den vollen Ausmass diese Stadtviertel Fantasie :-)

Alte Utting

Am 7. Oktober trafen wir uns (übrigens sehr viele diesmal!) an der Alten Utting, die seit Juli 2018 an ihrem Platz auf einer Brücke in Sendling steht. Das ausgemusterte Schiff dient nun als Partyschiff mit mehreren Lokalen. Dadurch gab es für uns jede Menge Sitzmöglichkeiten. Ich zeichnete zuerst die Alte Utting selbst. Dann begab ich mich hinunter zu einer Art Biergarten, wo mich die "BAR" faszinierte mit ihrer bunten Bemalung.

Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich einmal Graffiti malen würde!
