München in September

Es war toll, so viele gleichgesinnten Besucher in unserer Stadt zu sehen.  Ich habe sehr inspirierendes überall gesehen, bin richtig motiviert weiter zu lernen. Ich freue mich auf Eutin!

"It was great to see so many visitors with the same passion, in our city.  I saw plenty of new inspiration at each turn of the head, I'm really motivated to keep learning. I'm looking forward to Eutin!"

Mit vielen Zuschauern um uns herum (Touristen), hat ein Gruppe sich von der faszinierenden Architektur inspirieren lassen. Das war wild:-)

Ich habe Vormittag, bei einem Cappuccino, versucht das Leben auf der Leopoldstrasse mit Fineliner fest zu halten.

Sonntagsfrüh, gemeinsamer "Sketchwalk" am Odeonsplatz.

Allianz Arena, ...fast.

Wie immer, wüsste ich nicht was ich zeichnen wurde wenn ich dort angekommen bin. Ich stand vorm Arena, habe mich umgedreht, hingesetzt, und zeichnete. Ich fand es faszinierend zu versuchen, etwas mondänes wie ein Parkplatz, mit Gefühl aufs Papier zu bringen. Schon wieder Spaß gehabt! :-)

"As always, I had no idea what I would draw when I got there. I stood in front of the impressive stadium, turned away from it, sat down, and drew. I found it fascinating to try take something as mundane as a parking lot, and put it on paper with feeling. Woah, had fun again:-) "

Unterm Allianz Arena

Ich  bin es gewöhnt, immer zuerst Linien zu zeichnen, dann Farbe mit Pinsel zu applizieren. In Manchester besuchte ich ein Demo von der Französin Delphine Priollaud, die diese Gewohnheit aufn Kopf stellte, ..zuerst Farbe spielerisch aufs Papier bringen, dann, weitere Definition mit Stift.. Wow! Das ist aber gewöhnungsbedürftig! Ich mache das "ungewöhnliche" weiter:-)

"I am used to always putting lines on paper first and then applying colors with a brush. In Manchester I joined a demo from the French artist Delphine Priollaud, that turned that preconception on it's head,  first, playfully distributing color on the page, and adding definition with a drawing utensil... wow! Talk about an unusual feeling! I guess I'll be going with this "weird" one for a while:-)

Ein grauer, und zum Schluss auch noch sehr nasser Tag in Schwabing. Trotz Kälte, ein schönes Abenteuer.
